In order to protect the safety of families and nannies, pre-screening and criminal offender child abuse background checks are performed on both nannies and families. The first two interviews are one-on-one discussions with families and our family onboarding specialist about your family’s needs and priorities. Our service supports families in the process of making classroom and playroom planograms, family manuals, and responsibility and task lists, and assembling vital information our nannies need to know. It can be difficult to find a nanny who genuinely respects and upholds your family's standards and beliefs; therefore, we take the time to get to know and thoroughly screen each nanny to ensure the best fit is chosen. An approval or denial of the application will be provided after each party has enlisted. Neuronanny is willing to help with live-in nanny placements on a case-by-case basis at an additional cost.

At Neuronanny, we specialize in company-employed (W-2) nanny placements, offering families a fully supported, compliant, and thoughtfully managed care experience.
Our model is designed for families who value structure, professionalism, and long-term alignment. From sourcing and vetting to employment and ongoing support, Neuronanny serves as a dedicated partner throughout the care journey.
To ensure the best possible matches, families move through a structured, step-by-step process designed to prioritize alignment, clarity, and care quality.
Step 1: $50 Alignment Consultation
A private conversation to understand your family’s needs, timeline, household dynamics, and care goals. During this consultation, we’ll walk through Neuronanny’s care model and determine the most appropriate next steps.
Consultation's are required to begin the process.
Step 2: $350 Intake & Onboarding
For families who choose to move forward, this step includes detailed intake forms, family profile creation, and finalization of care structure and placement direction.
This stage prepares your family for placement and ensures we can begin the process thoughtfully and efficiently.
Step 3: 3,100 Active Placement Launch
Once intake is complete, Neuronanny begins active sourcing, screening, and presentation of qualified candidates aligned with your family’s needs.
Please note that nanny compensation and the annual agency fee are separate components.
For more insight into how our placement process is structured, please review the information below.
At Neuronanny, caregivers are employed directly through the agency as W-2 employees. This structure allows families to enjoy a fully supported care experience without managing the complexities of household employment on their own.
Unlike a traditional placement model where families manage payroll, employment taxes, and caregiver administration independently, Neuronanny provides a structured care model that includes caregiver employment, benefits administration, and ongoing placement support throughout the year.
This approach helps create stable, professional placements designed for long-term success for both families and caregivers.
Caregiver compensation is distinct from our agency fee and is determined by the nanny’s experience, qualifications, and selected care tier.
Neuronanny caregivers are experienced professionals with specialized training supporting children with autism, ADHD, and other neurodiverse needs.
Tier 1 — Starting at $26hr
Tier 2 — Starting at $29hr
Tier 3 — Starting at $35hr
Tier 4 — Starting at $46hr
Neuronanny placements involve three components:
Service Retainer — $3,500
Activates the intake process, family profile development, and candidate sourcing.
Nanny Compensation
Nanny compensation reflects the nanny’s professional salary and is determined by experience, qualifications, and care tier.
This is distinct from the service retainer and annual agency fee and is managed through Neuronanny as part of a fully coordinated placement process.
Annual Agency Fee
Supports caregiver employment, benefits, payroll administration, and ongoing placement support through Neuronanny.
For full-time placements, most families invest between $22,000 – $48,000+ annually in agency support, depending on the selected care tier and level of care.
Neuronanny was created to support families who need more than a traditional nanny placement. Our caregivers are carefully selected for their experience supporting children with neurodiverse needs and for their ability to provide structured, individualized care.
Families who work with Neuronanny benefit from:
• Access to highly vetted caregivers with specialized experience
• A structured placement process designed for long-term alignment
• W-2 caregiver employment managed through the agency
• Caregiver benefits and professional development support
• Guidance from the Neuronanny care team when questions arise
• Replacement sourcing within the Neuronanny network if needed during the contract period
Our goal is to create placements that are stable, professional, and well supported for both families and caregivers.
Families’ needs naturally evolve over time. Changes such as relocation, schedule adjustments, or shifts in household responsibilities may require a different care structure as children grow and family routines change.
Because Neuronanny operates with an active caregiver network and a structured contract model, families who are part of the Neuronanny network benefit from continued placement support throughout the contract period.
This allows Neuronanny to assist families with transitions that may arise, including:
• Adjusting care schedules as family routines change
• Transitioning to another qualified caregiver within the Neuronanny network if needed
• Expanding a caregiver’s role to support additional responsibilities as children grow
• Supporting families who relocate within Neuronanny service regions
Being part of the Neuronanny network allows families to access continued guidance and placement support, helping ensure their care structure can adapt as household needs evolve over time.
Every family’s needs are unique. During your consultation, we will review your household structure, discuss the appropriate care tier, and outline the next steps for beginning your Neuronanny placement process.

We know that explaining your child’s unique needs can feel overwhelming. To make the process easier, we offer a Guided Family Application & Intake Form Consultation with our Family Onboarding Specialist.
